Jane is also a dedicated activist for a number of charities seeking to improve the desperate lot of many of the world's children. Actively involved in numerous charitable causes, and as International Ambassador, Jane works for Childhelp USA, a national organization dedicated to research, treatment and prevention of child abuse. One of her many honors includes an award for "Woman of the World", which honors Jane for her social and charitable achievements.

Seymour is the Chairperson for City Hearts, an organization that enriches the lives of abused children, inner city children and disadvantaged delinquent youths. This organization educates the children in performing arts including painting, dancing and acting. Her talents as a watercolor and sketch artist have enabled her to make a deal with the Discover Card company allowing her talents to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation. 

She has also designed a special edition gift bottle of Korbel Champaign for a similar charity.

Jane is currently a spokes figure for Clairol, an association which in part benefits her charitable commitments. Seymour and Keach reside in Malibu, and she owns a 15th Century historic manor in Bath, England which she is dedicated to preserving.
